Outdoor enthusiasts will delight at Gelli Retreat’s expansive grounds. There’s over 4kms or 60 acres for you to explore at your leisure. You can also start at the Gellibrand River and make your way up the big hill. Trekking around Gellibrand makes for a day of enjoyable day of light exercise and if you’re very lucky you may even meet some of the local wildlife.

Cycling

The Great Ocean Road is well known as an idyllic cycling destination. Lorne is just an hour drive away but Gellibrand is also home to a number of trails ready to be explored. Be sure to make time to visit the “Old Beechy Rail Trail” – a local favourite and great for cyclists of all abilities. So when packing to make the trip to Gellibrand, be sure to bring your bike along to explore everything that the Otways region has to offer.
